Menindee Lakes and Silverton Scenic Flights
Depart Broken Hill for a breathtaking scenic flight across vast outback properties as you make your way to Menindee. Take in unique aerial views of the historic township, the winding Darling River, and the striking contrast between the desert plains and the landscape of the Lakes and River system.
As we reach the water, enjoy a stunning perspective of Pamamaroo, Menindee, Cawndilla and Wetherell lakes, as well as Kinchega National Park. From above, you may spot birdlife, native animals, and the region’s unique flora that thrive around these iconic waterways. On Return to Broken Hill we make a pass over the famous outback township of Silverton, nestled in the rugged Barrier Ranges, before capturing views of the Silver City while coming back to land.

Take to the skies for a 30-minute scenic flight showcasing the very best of Broken Hill and the Far West. Soar over the historic Line of Lode and the Open Cut mines of the Silver City, before heading towards the historic town of Silverton, the iconic ghost town nestled among the Barrier Ranges, where sweeping desert plains meet rocky hills filled with abandoned mining history. The flight is the perfect way to experience the region’s history, colours, and vast open spaces from a whole new perspective.
